LaFortune Park Plaza HOA
The LaFortune Park Plaza HOA is sponsoring the Yard Of The Month program with the purpose of recognize residents who demonstrate above–average efforts in maintaining their property. Thereby they are contributing to the overall appearance of the Neighborhood.
All award winners receive an official Yard of the Month lawn sign, to be placed on their property for the duration of their award month.
Yard of the Month winners must be willing to share photos of their property on our HOA and Next Door website.
For November the Yard of the Month North Side belongs to the McClish household at 5827 E 53rd St. Their yard is always neatly trimmed and currently has fall decorations mixed in the maple tree color. Thank you McClish for beautifying our neighborhood!
For October the Yard of the Month North Side goes to Hahn household at 5517 South Hudson Place, has had a labor of love improving their beautiful home and yard over the past ten years. Hardscape additions like the woodwork over the gate adds dimension to the lot. Congrats on you efforts!
For August the Yard of the Month North Side goes to longtime residents Murphy household at 5227 South Joplin Avenue, has meticulously cared for their home and yard. Even with the August heat, the turf on their yard looks fantastic! Thank you helping to beautify our neighborhood!
For August the Yard of the Month belongs to the Cross-McCrary household at 5331 S Joplin Ave. We would like to recognize the outstanding efforts that was put into the yard and thank you for making our neighborhood a beautiful place to live in!
For July the Yard of the Month belongs to the Champion household at 5416 S Oxford Ave. Over the past few years, the home and landscape has been tastefully updated including the large white pots containing colorful plants.
For June the Yard of the Month North Side goes to the Startor home at 5344 S Hudson Pl.
They have figured out how to have year round blooms with their river rock pinwheels. The rocks are all hand selected and then laid out to match size and color before “planting”.
